When I have the experience of déjè vu, it includes the feeling of having dreamed these exact surroundings and the exact feelings I'm having at the time (the internal and external situation). I also feel like I know the future for as long as the déjè vu lasts. I just realized that the future that I think I know is exactly what has been on my mind lately. So, if I've been dreaming about a trip to Arizona and suddenly have déjè vu, the future I sense will include getting to Arizona.
