| I walk up an embankment, notice that it is oozing with mud in an imminent landslide from water up the hill. Reach the top of the embankment and see small (10 inch) redwood trees broken off at about head high. There is a lake of dark water, waves breaking over the embankment which turns out to have been man-made to create the lake. A group is running counter-clock wise around the lake. One woman is trying to keep up by running on the water in a shorter circumference. |
