| Thinker : Dreams : Protest McDonald's Parking Lot | |||||
|
Laying on a bed in a hotel room watching TV I saw film crews racing around a subdivision capturing footage of environmental protestors fleeing police after protesting the expansion of a McDonald's parking lot into a grove of eucalyptus trees on a hillside. The camera crew filmed the police bludgeoning protestors in the face. I cried in the dream in front of the other people in the room. I went downstairs to find Kirk. He was waiting for his plane. He left. I looked around the hanger. Two rows of planes along a central aisle. Prop blades spinning; jets warming up. Outside, past the concession stand, a rickety concrete stairway down to the road. To a car. Drive into town on a cobblestone street. Pass a stone marker with a small magic mushroom icon. Granny types looked disapprovingly. |
