Property taxes require that they be paid annually. This means we must have income to pay them. Other laws are arranged so that after 3 generations or so, any fortune has been eliminated. Thus everyone must work. We would be a much more secure and stable, rooted people if we were allowed to own our home in fact, rather than paying rent to the government. What a travesty. What a joke played on unwitting fools that we are—we think we own our homes, but we must pay the government for the privilege. Eliminate property taxes! |
